The application required me to input my salary expectation upfront. After months and 5 rounds of interviews, I got an email saying my application was no longer considered, only to receive a voicemail the next day retracting that message. Ultimately, they revealed their salary range was below what I was expecting.
- Can you describe how you manage juggling multiple projects concurrently?
Executive Assistant
The interview process took almost 4 weeks, which I appreciated because they really cared about hiring the right people. I'm excited to join a passionate group doing important work. I got another offer while waiting, and they responded with a competitive and fair offer for my experience. While it wasn't the absolute highest salary, I prioritize the people I work with over just the pay.
- Can you tell me what you know about this company? Make sure you do your research beforehand.
Executive Assistant
So, first there was a phone interview, then two in-person interviews. HR did the initial screening, and after that, I met the staff I'd be assisting. The questions were pretty standard, and then I had to do a document edit/review test. It wasn't too difficult overall, though they could probably combine the in-person interviews into just one.
- What are the basic questions you were asked?
- Were you informed about potential career growth within the company?

It was four interviews total. Started with an initial screen, then I met with the hiring manager and some team members. The last interview was with the leader. The interviews were pretty formal and it all took about four weeks. We did an in-person meeting with the team members. They also asked me to give some examples of a dashboard scenario in person.
- Can you tell me about a project you're proud of?
- Could you present some in-person examples of a dashboard scenario?
