The entire interview process took place online. The panel was very approachable and friendly. I interviewed with both the Shoreline and Lacey offices and received offers from each within a few days. There were 10 questions in total, with Lacey requiring a writing assessment. I felt good about my performance afterwards. All my references were contacted and verified.

It was a two-stage interview process. Both stages involved panels of 3-5 interviewers. The first interview was pretty general, and the second one was way more in-depth. The second one also included a facility tour and discussions about specific projects. The first interview had 5 people, and they basically followed a script. The second one had 3 people, and it felt more focused but didn't seem like they were sticking to a script.

Behavioral Presentation

The interview was pretty standard for a government job. I sat in front of four people who were on a panel, and they all read questions from a list they had. They said these questions were meant to make sure everyone got a fair shot at proving they're the best person for the job.
