Behavioral Presentation

It was a panel interview with 2-3 people asking questions. They asked about the dshs mission and values, and then some general customer service questions. They said the interview goes fast if you answer honestly and well. Make sure to have questions for them at the end.

A woman brought me into an office and gave me a quick rundown of DSHS and the specific job opening. She then had me do a quick 10-minute 'test' where I had to sort through lots of documents and figure out which ones went together. She left me alone to do it. When my time was up, she came back with two other people, took the test, and we all sat down. They read questions from papers they had and took notes on my answers. The questions were pretty simple, but it was still a little nerve-wracking. Overall, it was an easy process, but be ready to answer questions in front of about 3 interviewers.

the process was great and very simple. First, I spent 30 minutes developing a cover letter and resume to put on the online application. I answered questions about my past work experiences, references information, and job skills. Then I answered survey questions about position requirements. I was contacted days after job acceptance of apps closed. Then I had an hour-long assessment, a computer test, and an interview.
