Scheduling the interviews was easy at first, but then things went downhill. I was supposed to have interviews with the Administrative Officer and the Chief People’s Officer in late May 2024. I was scheduled to meet with the CPO first, logged into Teams, and waited over 30 minutes for him, but he never showed up. I did meet with the Administrative Officer, and that interview went well. She shared her background, and then we focused on my background and experience. My interview with the CPO was rescheduled for the next week in early June at 1:00 pm. The CPO was 10 minutes late, and during the interview, he kept checking his phone and didn't make eye contact. After both interviews, I didn't hear anything back for over a month. It was not the professional experience I expected from an NFL organization.

It was a smooth process. I had 3 calls and then an in-person interview where I met the staff. HR kept me informed about the process. They were timely in all steps of the interview and when it came to offer negotiations.

It started well but then went downhill. I was first called for an interview at Redskins Park with the IT Department. A few days later, I was asked back for a second interview with the IT Department. They had me take a test and then I spoke with everyone for about 45 minutes. A few days after that, I got an email from the IT Department thanking me for coming in and suggesting I call them in a day or two to discuss details. I called the next day but no one was in, so I left a voicemail and also sent an email. A few days passed and I heard nothing. The following week, I tried calling and emailing again. A few days later, I received a generic email saying they thanked me for applying but had already filled the position. I'm not sure what went wrong, but they could have at least responded about why they ghosted me after asking me to contact them.

It was pretty simple, they just went through my resume and talked about how I'd fit in. Two people interviewed me and asked about my previous work and how it would apply here.
