First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Warschawski.
Digital Marketing Associate
It was a pretty standard interview process. First up, a screening call with either the VP of Digital or the Director of Data Strategy, and sometimes even the COO. No info on salary or benefits until the next stage.
- Can you share your experience with managing digital campaigns?
Graphic Designer
I had two interviews, one virtual and one in-person. It was pretty standard, asking about my history and my work. They did say something weird in the in-person one, like they usually hire young people right out of school who 'don’t have a strong work ethic.' I thought that was odd. I did a design assignment to show what I could do, and then just never heard back, no rejection or anything. It was a bad candidate experience. Lots of red flags, so I'm not upset it didn't work out. Just a heads up for others to be careful about doing unpaid work if they don't follow up.
- Would you go the extra mile for this position?
Accountant
I went through a few rounds of interviews. After that, I didn't get many updates. I followed up a few times but still didn't hear anything. I guess that means I didn't get the job, but it would have been nice to get updates.
- I was asked to complete a writing assignment after the initial interview.
Assistant Associate
I had one interview round with two interviewers. It was a pretty casual conversation where we talked about school projects and my media experience. They got back to me pretty quickly with an offer via email.
- Could you detail the projects you worked on and describe your approach to them?
- What was your experience like working with media?
