First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Warren.
Intern
The interview was geared towards understanding my career vision, my preferred specialization area, and my awareness of the profession's diversity. It included basic technical questions about protocols and practical projects, as well as behavioral questions concerning my profile and tolerance for adverse workplace situations.
- In which area do you want to specialize?
- Why are you accepting a role different from your desired one at this moment?
Investment Specialist
The interview was very relaxed and pleasant. Fernanda was very friendly and attentive. She talked about the company, and we were able to interact because I had already researched the company. Our conversation lasted about 30 minutes. She asked about my career path, my job changes, why I was looking for a new role, and how I would feel about working at Warren. We didn't move forward because I need to bring my ID card, which isn't my style.
- Could you tell me about your most significant career achievements?
- How do you approach receiving feedback?
- What was the last feedback you received, and have you given feedback to others?
Marketing Analyst
The whole process was quite long and split into four parts: first an interview with HR, then an interview with the hiring manager, followed by a challenge presentation for the hiring manager and the Marketing Director, and finally an interview with the Marketing Director. The challenge was a take-home test that I spent 5.5 hours on, designed to see if I had the technical skills needed for the job. After I passed the test, I moved on to the chat with the Marketing Director. Unfortunately, that interview didn't go well at all. The director kept yawning and looking at other things on their computer screen, which made me feel like I was talking to myself multiple times. Two weeks after that, I got a cold, impersonal rejection through Gupy, saying I wasn't selected due to 'lack of technical knowledge.' After four interview stages and hours spent on a challenge that was approved and praised, I felt the whole process was a huge disregard and deeply disrespectful. I hope no other candidate goes through such an embarrassing and negative experience.
- Which brands do you admire?
- Regarding brand communication, what are your thoughts on the current financial market?
Product Manager
The interview started great with HR and the Manager. It was going well until we got to salary, where the interviewer's attitude changed. She was unhappy with my salary expectations, even though they are in line with the market. I even lowered them a bit to 'fit' the profile. However, it seems the company pays below market and compensates with benefits. I want to alert that a company so focused on culture and diversity needs to review its salary scale because benefits are great, but they don't pay the bills. Everyone needs to have their bills paid to work better. It's a shame because I really connected with the company's business.
- What are your thoughts on diversity within the company?
