If you don't get the job, expect to be ignored. I got a call about a week after applying. The first call went well, and I got invited for an in-office interview. The people in both interviews were nice, and it felt like a normal conversation. But, like others, I never heard back. It's been months, so I guess I didn't get it, but it's rude not to let candidates know. I emailed a few times, but nothing. It's disrespectful, especially for a big company. I'm disappointed because I felt respected during the interview, but it was fake. Candidates don't mind not getting a job, but they do care about being treated like people. It takes time, effort, and money to interview, and it's stressful. A quick email is the least they can do. I've been on the hiring side and know it takes seconds to show respect to people who've invested time and money. If they had told me the outcome, I would have left a good review, even though I didn't get the job, because the interviewers were good.

The interview process is pretty standard for this kind of role, they're really focused on developing talent. I met with the department head and the head of M&A. The whole thing took about 45 minutes, and there was time at the end for me to ask questions.

The interview process was pretty standard. They mostly asked general questions about working with others, how I approach my work, and other stuff to see if I'd be a good fit and if I had the right skills for the job. I felt like I nailed it, but it's been a month with no word.

Glassdoor interview submission! The internet has helped balance the hiring process. I'm writing about a hiring process that seems unclear and where hiring managers might misuse their authority. This interview was one of my worst. This review is explanatory. I'm hesitant to apply to this office again but hope it improves for others. This might not represent the whole organization. If you like unfounded suggestions presented as feedback, this is the place. Job Description: This was a positive experience. Submissions were by email, likely avoiding automation. The job description was friendly, explaining the organization and its industry. However, it was long, and it was hard to tell the importance of each requirement, unless all were essential and jargon was understood. 'Rockstar candidates will have' likely means essential. 'It will be music to our ears if you also had' likely means preferred. 'Don’t be discouraged if you don’t hear from us right away. We’re taking our time to review all resumes and find the best people for WMG.' Interview and Arrangements: I got a reply within thirty minutes of emailing. This could mean a very positive review, pressure on hiring managers due to candidate volume, or efficient review of a 2-page cover letter and 2-page CV. Certain details weren't considered and were repeated in the interview as questioning rather than confirmation. I was frowned upon on camera and criticized for camera etiquette, which deterred me from answering questions properly. Unlike other interviews where corrections lead to exchanges, this was the opposite. It might be a resilience test. Next Steps: The next step of screening and communications within the hiring team was explained, but maybe nothing will follow. Essentially, 'no reply is a reply, within a week.'
