Software Engineer
The overall interview process was easy and the interviews were short. However, they often felt aimless, and there was a lot of time wasted between interviews. After the last interview, there was no response for over a month. Ultimately, I was told the position was scrapped and received no feedback. It felt like a waste of my time. It would be better to have things organized before asking people for interviews.

A recruiter messaged me on LinkedIn about setting up a phone chat. My first interview was over the phone with this really nice woman. It went great. The next week, the recruiter contacted me again to schedule a video interview. That also went super well, I talked to the same woman and her manager. Even though I thought I did really well and am totally qualified, they didn't pick me. I'm not sure why. I emailed back asking for a reason because I was genuinely shocked I didn't get it since I felt it went so well and my background was a perfect match. I politely asked why I was denied and never heard back.

Instructional Designer
I went through about 4 interviews that spanned 6-8 weeks. The first three were online, and the last one was in person at their Atlanta office. I got different info from the first two people I talked to. The third interview required a presentation about supply chain issues, but the instructions were super unclear. Even after asking others, nobody understood what they needed. I tried asking questions through the first interviewer, but she didn't get what I was asking. I asked to talk to someone on the interview panel directly, but they said their info was private. I eventually just decided to do the presentation with the vague info, figuring maybe they wanted to see if I could figure things out on my own. It was tough, but the panel liked it. Later that day, I was invited back for a fourth interview that Friday to 'meet the team'. I really thought I had the job because the first interviewer said I was the only one who made it that far. I toured the office, met more people, and did 4 more short interviews, lasting about 3 hours total. They said I'd hear back on Monday. I was feeling great, so I was shocked when I got an email Wednesday saying they hired someone else and the job was closed. I asked for more details, especially after getting good feedback, but the reply was polite but not from an interviewer. Considering how much time I put in, I deserved a better explanation.
