First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wardlaw Claims Service.
Consultant
The interview process was not informative. Management seemed unprepared, and the questions asked felt like a play-along scenario rather than a genuine assessment. There were false promises and a lack of team atmosphere, with no accountability. There was no direction in leading or providing effective training for on-site managers to teach the craft.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Property Claims Adjuster
I got a referral from someone at Wardlaw and then interviewed with their Claims Operations manager. They offered me a role focused on handling claims remotely via phone. Wardlaw was a decent place to work, but their payment structure for adjusters is tied to when the carriers pay them, which can be slow, especially outside of major disaster periods. They do let you take advances on your earned pay, up to a certain amount. This advance limit isn't officially stated and seems to depend on how long you've been there and how much is owed to you.
- Tell me about your background and experience.
- Can you describe the largest claim you've managed?
- Have you handled claims from major disaster events before?
Insurance Adjuster
I had a phone call where they asked about my experience. They asked when I could start and for me to complete the employment package and send it back. They then gave me a report date. That was it. Because I had the experience, they were ready to hire me.
- Could you tell me how long you have worked as an adjuster and in what areas?
- Would you be able to start in two weeks?
- What are your salary expectations?
