First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Walton HI-Tech Industries.
Internal Auditor
First, HR called me for a written test. After that, I attended the written test. Then, I got another call for an interview. I attended the interview at their corporate office where they took photocopies of all my certificates. After that, there was a viva and then a computer test. Later, I was called again to negotiate salary and discuss benefits. They mentioned a final interview with higher management would happen, and if it went well, I'd be selected. Finally, I had an online interview with the higher management. They asked a few questions. The last step was receiving the appointment letter.

Software Engineering Intern
I applied for a Software Engineering Internship at Walton Hi-Tech Industries after seeing a post on Facebook. Soon after applying, I got a call and a message to take a written test on Zoom. This test had multiple-choice questions on programming basics, databases, and frameworks. I finished the exam and later that day, got another call saying I passed and had a technical interview scheduled for the next day, also on Zoom. Things got weird from there. The HR person who called me was unprofessional, like they were annoyed I passed the test. This feeling continued in the technical interview, which wasn't what I expected. There were about 5-6 engineers and the same HR person. They were discouraging, even rude, making me feel like I didn't know anything about programming or IT, rather than assessing my skills. I was told I'd get the results but never heard back. Turns out, friends of mine got the internship without even taking the test or interview. It seems like they hire based on who you know, not on merit.

NSM/Retail
I wanted to share my wonderful experience during the recruitment process with the HRD team. They were professional and efficient in administering the written and computer tests before lunch. They provided a complimentary lunch for all the candidates, which was a nice touch. The process was then followed by the final selection stage, and the HRD team kept us well-informed throughout the entire process. Finally, they provided us with job feedback on the specified day, which was exceptional. Overall, I must say that the HRD team's approach to the recruitment process was impressive, and it made a lasting positive impact on my overall experience.

Internship
The interview process usually involves a few steps to check if a candidate is qualified, skilled, and a good fit. It starts with looking at applications and resumes to pick out candidates. Then, the chosen ones get initial interviews, maybe by phone or video. If they do well, they move on to in-person interviews with managers or teams. These interviews check technical skills, how they solve problems, and if they fit the company culture. Sometimes, there are extra tests like technical challenges or personality quizzes. Lastly, the top candidates have a final interview or talk about the offer before the company hires the best person for the job.
