First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Walters Hospitality.
Bartender
It was an easy and smooth process. They responded quickly and told me about the next steps after the interview. Onboarding was smooth and quick too.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience in hospitality?
Specialist
First, they email you. There are 15-20 minutes for the first round, and then there are two rounds in total. One is in person and the other is remote. You will meet with a different person in each round. They will describe the job to you and ask you questions to see how much of a fit you are for the job. One of the most important things they look at is location, to see if you can travel to different venues.
- How does your past experience connect with this position?
- Can you travel to various locations for work?
Sales Associate
After applying, I had a long phone interview. They scheduled an in-person interview for a specific day and then I never heard back. I emailed and called to confirm the time, but they never responded. It wasn't very professional since I had set that day aside.
- Can you describe your sales experience?
Sales Specialist
Communication was minimal from their side. They mentioned needing significant assistance but consistently hired individuals without prior sales experience for sales positions, which they seemed surprised led to unmet targets.
- Were you asked any sales-focused questions?
