I got to the store a bit before my interview and the manager took me outside. We sat down and she started asking me questions, about 10 of them, and it took about 15 minutes. She seemed really engaged with my answers. Afterwards, she told me about the store and the job, and all the details. I asked her some questions too and she answered them really well. She said I'd hear back by email about their decision. She was a very nice interviewer!

We had a group interview that lasted about 45 minutes with around 6 people. We went around the table and they asked each of us the same questions. They asked us why we wanted to work for Disney and about any previous experience we had. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed, and the other interviewees seemed equally friendly and upbeat. They asked each of us to get to know the person next to us and then introduce them. They also gave us an example of a customer who might come into the store and asked us to go into the store, pick out an item, and then introduce and sell it to a potential customer.

I applied online and got a call about a week later to come in for an interview. It was a bit confusing because I applied to two locations and they didn't specify which one, and there was no follow-up email. I had to check the careers page, find the job number, and look up the posting to figure it out. The interview was a group session with four of us, though they mentioned 12 were expected. We sat outside the store in the mall, making it hard to hear. We had to introduce each other, mentioning a fun fact about the other person. Then, we each got a scenario and had to explain how we'd handle it. They also asked us to share a time we dealt with a stressful situation. They emphasized that the job involves working holidays, asking if we were okay with that and implying it might be hard to get days off. I think it's fine to answer questions first, but if you need a moment to think, it's okay to let someone else go ahead.
