& Process

It was two interviews. The first one was more of a fit/behavioral interview where they asked about my motivation for Disney and the role, had me introduce myself, and talk about my CV and experience. They also asked about strategic problem-solving, teamwork, and a time I had to solve a challenging problem. The second interview involved presenting a data analytics task that was sent beforehand, discussing my thoughts on it, elaborating on my CV, and talking about current projects, learning new skills, and even Disney characters.

The hiring and recruiting teams were nice. The interview questions didn't seem to go in-depth, making me question if I was truly being considered. For a large company, the interview process felt unorganized compared to other Forbes 500 companies I've interviewed with. My questions weren't answered before the interview, and my follow-ups after have been ignored unless I advanced. The process has become longer, and I suspect I didn't get past the 4th interview since they reposted the role. It's been 4 months, and I haven't been rejected yet, but I'm anticipating it. While I understand feedback is difficult, a response while still in the running would be appreciated, as the lack of communication makes me feel like just a number. This wasn't the experience I expected from my dream company.

My interview with Disney's entertainment division was pretty fast and good, taking about 3 weeks total. It started with a chat with the recruiter, then I had one interview with the hiring manager, followed by a skills test, and then another interview with a VP. Everyone I talked to, including the recruiter, was really positive. I didn't get an offer, but the recruiter let me know right away on the phone and said they'd keep my info for other jobs. Overall, everyone was nice and I got a good vibe from how they handled recruiting.
