The interviewer explained the role's expectations and responsibilities, and shared coworker performance metrics for context. They also described the training program for new hires and gave a tour of the dealership.

So after applying online, there was a really short phone call with a recruiter. It was mostly just to schedule an in-person chat at their office. They asked me to dress business professional and bring extra copies of my resume for this recruiter meeting. The recruiter interview itself was super laid back and honestly, the recruiter did most of the talking about the company, while I was in this big glass room in the middle of everything. After that, I got set up for an interview with the hiring manager for the role. Business professional attire and resume copies were still a must. During this interview, I barely spoke because the hiring manager was more focused on talking about herself and the person who previously had the job. She did give me a tour of the facilities though, which I took, and she seemed to like me and my background well enough, but I still didn't get many chances to speak. When I left, they said someone from HR would be in touch within about a week.

I sent in my application online and a recruiter from corporate reached out. The first interview was a phone call where they asked about my sales background and why I was interested in Walser. Then, I got a second interview at the corporate office with the recruiter. Before that, I had to complete a personality assessment, which involved ranking statements. The actual interview was pretty standard, covering my resume and extracurriculars. The recruiter tried to match me with a dealership based on the cars I knew. Later, I went to a dealership to meet the general manager. I had to wait about 40 minutes, and the GM made a comment about interview times that contradicted what the corporate recruiter had said. I met a few employees there, and I noticed a potential bias towards younger, thinner women. The male employees seemed to have a very 'bro' culture. This interview lasted about two hours. Afterwards, the corporate recruiter asked for my feedback on the interview. I didn't get the job because they thought I wouldn't stay for more than a year, which I admitted was probably true.

After a recruiter phone screen, I had an interview the next day. It was pretty informal. They asked me to introduce myself and reviewed my resume. They discussed the company and the job a lot. I felt it went well, though it was a straightforward interview. However, I never heard back, which was a bummer since it's not hard to send a quick email about the outcome.
