First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wally’s Wine & Spirits.
Bakery Clerk
The interview process was a bit long with a phone call and then an in-person meeting. I think the process could be better evaluated over time and considering your work history.
- Tell me your elevator speech.
Finance & Accounting Manager
I had an initial chat with a third party recruiter who was really good. Then I went through a great round with someone from HR, also great. After that, I was moved along to the CMO. This person joined the call, didn't turn on their video, and then proceeded to tell me I was a bad fit for the job. They presented a different job description than what was previously discussed and didn't seem like they were actually there to interview me. Wouldn't recommend this process.
- What makes you want to apply for this position
Wine Associate
The interview process is straightforward. They'll assess if you've passed, and then you'll come in. It will either be marked as completed or failed. If something fails, they'll set a defect, restate it in the initial defect or fail notice.
- How are you doing today, sir?
Receptionist
Everyone was very nice and easy to talk to. They are proud of their business. It seems like they want people who can be passionate with them. I was nervous going in but quickly realized I didn't need to be.
