First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Wallaroo Media.
Graphic Designer
So, first I had to do this task, like a take-home thing before even talking to anyone. Then, they gave me another task, not too hard, where I had to make two static ads and then animate them into motion ads. After that, I had the actual interview.
- Can you tell me about your proudest accomplishment?
- Walk me through your design process.
Content Marketing Intern
I applied online for the Content Marketing Intern position at Wallaroo Media, and after a few days, I came in for an interview. The managers who interviewed me were very conversational and showed genuine interest in my previous experience. Since I'm an intern, they also asked me what I hoped to learn from them, which I really appreciated.
- Could you give me a rundown of your resume?
- What is your motivation for seeking this particular role?
- Which TV show or movie character do you identify with the most, and could you explain why?
Marketing
The interview was pretty chill. I felt very comfortable, and it was mostly about seeing if I'd be a good fit for the office vibe. We talked a bit about what I've studied and how an internship there over the summer could be mutually beneficial.
- Which fictional character, from a TV show or movie, do you relate to the most, and could you explain why?
