First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Walker Healthforce.
Credentialing Specialist
I sent in my resume and then got contacted a few days later to schedule the first interview. The first interview was with the VP of HR, who gave me a general overview of the company and learned more about me. After that, my qualifications were reviewed by some directors I'd be working with. The second interview was with these 3 directors just a few days after the first one. The whole process was straightforward and clear to ensure we were a good mutual fit. I got my offer about two weeks after the initial interview!
- Can you describe your ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment?
Registered Nurse
I was really nervous but was comfortable after starting. The interviewer was easy to speak with. Be sure to practice interview questions for this role. Knowing how to handle a difficult assignment and coworkers is important. Also know how to problem solve and how to use your resources.
- Tell me about your previous job experience.
- How do you manage challenging situations?
Operations
It was a thorough, panel-style interview that was virtual. They are looking for people who can help improve and advance things internally, and they really focused on my past job history and how it relates to this job. They were also very interested in my technical skills. The interviewers seemed motivated to improve internal processes.
- What kind of positive impact do you think you can make on the organization?
Human Resources Role
I had an initial interview with the owner. The call went way over the scheduled time, but then I never heard back. No follow-up about next steps, no thank you note, and no rejection. This was surprising given we talked about professionalism on the call. Based on company reviews, I think I might have dodged a bullet.
- Can you detail your previous job experiences?
- Would you be open to working beyond standard hours?
