So I found them on Indeed and the first step was a phone screen with HR. After that, within a week, there was an in-person test, then another HR interview, and finally a panel interview with some mid/senior level staff. After that they started the offer process with HR.

The interview process was very friendly, with a long assignment but worth the hassle. There was a 1-hour interview on SEO best practices and optimization recommendations. This was followed by an introductory interview and then an interview with the department director. The director was very well prepared and clear about the job role and work environment.

The whole thing took about two and a half weeks, and then another week and a half passed before I heard they were moving on with someone else. Honestly, reading the reviews almost made me quit. It started with a basic phone interview, no real tech talk or deep skill discussion. Right after, I got an invite for an online assessment. This test felt pretty random and unrelated to the job, and the invite didn't even explain what it was. The first part was timed, with multiple-choice math and logic puzzles, like predicting the next shape in a sequence. Around 20 seconds per question, 50 questions total. Then came a personality test with no time limit, which I found outdated. Apparently, most people don't finish the first part on time, and some people find answers online beforehand. I guess I passed because I got invited to more interviews. The second interview was with someone knowledgeable. The third interview got strange; the interviewer seemed confused about who I was, couldn't find my resume, and started talking about their personal life and connections. They didn't seem to know much about digital advertising and asked personal questions about my children's schooling, which felt inappropriate and potentially discriminatory. I asked for more time to talk since my resume wasn't really discussed, but they ignored that and scheduled more interviews. In the fourth interview, when I asked about the office culture, they admitted it wasn't great, with some people trying to improve things. This really confirmed my concerns from reading reviews. The fifth and final interview was with two people, one I'd met before, who mostly just listened. After that, I heard nothing for a week, so I followed up. They didn't reply directly but forwarded my email, and I received a generic message saying I wasn't moving forward.

I had to jump through a lot of hoops to get in an in-person interview, The in-person interview is when everything started to take a turn for the worse. I have two phone screenings which went great, They had me take a logic and personality test, which I seemed to pass because they invited me to an in-person interview. Then they asked me to do a visual design test. *which is interesting because I am interviewing for a UX position, not a visual design role.
