The interview process was super easy and flowed really well. Mostly behavioral questions, but a few technical ones were thrown in too, especially about things I might not know. It was a panel interview where everyone asked different questions.

I went through two rounds for my interview. The first was a phone screening to check my communication skills and background. Even though it was advertised as a graduate intern role with not much detail, I was surprised to be interviewed for a data science position. The second round was a 45-minute interview with the team manager, director, and other officials, but only the manager actually interviewed me. The director joined about 15 minutes late and left after only 10 minutes, seeming like he didn't want to waste time on someone he didn't think was capable. It makes you wonder how people manage when they've been in the same spot. The manager was nice and asked good questions, but the director's attitude was intimidating. The interview finished in 30 minutes instead of the scheduled 45. I felt I did well and gave good answers, but it's not practical to expect interns to have the same skills and experience as full-time employees while getting paid so little. Internships should be about learning and guidance. The company rejected me within two hours and didn't reply to my follow-ups for weeks to get feedback.

So I went to a job fair at my school and they invited me to interview. The first interview went great and they said I'd hear back in 3 weeks. I didn't hear anything so they told me it would be another two weeks. Still nothing, so I kind of gave up. Then, like 3 weeks after that, another person from the company contacted me. They said I passed the first interview and wanted a higher-level manager to interview me. I had that second interview a week later. It was pretty meh, really similar to the first one, but I felt like the second team didn't really try to get to know me.

  • Tell me about a time you put a new program into action and what the outcome was.
