First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Waitrose.
Customer Service Representative
We started with an online test, it was multiple choice and asked scenario questions. Then you had to rank yourself. After that, there was a second stage which was an interview where we had to work in a group to solve questions. For example, they asked what we would do if a customer wanted a product that wasn't available.
- What's your biggest weakness?
- How would you handle a situation where a customer wants a product that is out of stock?
Customer Service Representative
I first applied and did an online assessment. After that, I had an in-person interview. The questions were pretty straightforward, mostly common sense stuff. The interviewer was nice. I got offered the job a few days later.
- Regarding restocking, what is the maximum time that refrigerated or frozen goods can be left outside of their respective storage units?
Customer Service Associate
The process was simple, you apply online then go through a quiz where you answer scenario questions. If suitable for the role they ask you to go for an interview where it's a one-on-one conversation with the manager!
