First, there was an HR screen with a recruiter. Then, I had an online interview with the hiring manager. The last stage was getting invited onsite to do a panel interview. The panel interview was pretty robust, and I ended up speaking with about 8-10 people in two separate interview sessions.

The interview was fine. They wanted me to use the S T A R method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) for answering questions. They also reviewed my resume and asked me questions. No technical questions were asked. I got a tour of the factory after the interview.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

It started with a recruiter screening, then a hiring manager screening. After that, there were two onsite panels. The first panel was with technical folks, and we mostly talked about IT concepts and how to plan and solve situations when designing and implementing software architecture. The second panel was with other senior people who would interact with the role and asked more leadership and management questions.

The staff at the Kansas City location were very pleasant and seemed interested in me joining the team. I spoke with two production supervisors and the operations manager. They took me on a tour and showed me the facility, which appeared to be a very clean environment. I was offered the position and then sent for a drug screen. I also want to mention that the receptionist greeted me warmly, making me feel like family, which is always a positive sign.
