I met with the editor and editorial assistant who managed the Norton Critical Editions summer internship. We chatted about my past experiences with my college literary review and what books I've read lately. The interview was around ten to fifteen minutes long and was conducted on Microsoft Teams, with time for my questions at the end.

I had just one interview over Zoom with the person who would be my supervisor. It was a very casual and good experience overall - we talked about my experience, what I wanted out of the internship, and what our current reads are (super important! remember that publishing is about the books & connecting with your interviewer over books is a really good way to be memorable while displaying your knowledge of publishing.)
