The HR department of WUG Marketing contacted me a couple days ago to set up an interview for 3:00pm. It went really well. The person I met with was super helpful and answered all my questions. He shared his past work experiences and asked about mine. I made sure to tell him that opportunities for advancement are very important to me, and it sounds like there's potential for growth at WUG Marketing. The atmosphere was really welcoming and friendly. Any worries I had were quickly gone when the interviewer greeted me with a smile. He mentioned he had more candidates to see and that I'd hear back within 24-48 hours if I'm selected after their review, so I'm feeling optimistic.

I was contacted out of the blue for this role, they somehow got my resume. It felt like one of those places that hire anyone without checking profiles or if the job seeker is even interested. A bad strategy, if you ask me! I'm a graphic designer, so it wasn't a good match. I went anyway to practice for interviews for graphic design jobs I actually applied for. The interviewer mentioned I'd get a call, but I only got a couple of emails, the first one I just ignored. Seriously, treat their emails like spam.

The first stage is usually with the hiring manager, who reviews your resume and asks about your background and personality, as well as your short-term and long-term aspirations. The second stage involves an introduction to their business, specifically focusing on the Verizon expansion, which is a pyramid scheme. The goal is to see if you understand and can contribute to this business model without needing to prove your capability extensively.

I interviewed with WUG Marketing yesterday. The HR team member reached out to me. She was very nice and helpful on the phone. She asked me a few things and then set up an interview with the Hiring Manager. I met with the HR manager who talked about the company, its services, and future plans. We also talked a bit about traveling, which we both enjoy. After that, Adam called me for a follow-up interview. I'm really looking forward to it!
