It was an online interview, lasting about 30 minutes. I talked with two associates. They asked me some basic behavioral questions. Some questions were about my resume and others were about hypothetical workplace scenarios.

Behavioral Technical Group

After an initial phone chat that was pretty chill and mostly behavioral, I got an invite to come onsite to Flagstaff for the main interviews. It was a two-day thing. They had us all meet up for a group dinner the night before, which was super casual and a good chance to just hang out and ask questions without it being a formal evaluation. The next day was the actual interviews, three 45-minute sessions back-to-back. They hit you with a lot of technical stuff and behavioral questions, really trying to get inside your head and see how you think, even throwing in stuff you might not have direct experience with to see how you react. Everyone was really nice, way more relaxed than I expected. My main advice is just be yourself and be honest, they seem to really care about finding people who will fit in with the team.

The hiring process starts with an online application on gore.com/careers. After ranking applicants, about 5-10 are selected for interviews. These interviews usually happen in pairs, and typically half of the candidates are cut before another round of interviews. The final selection is debated and agreed upon internally before an offer is extended. This whole process can take 1-2 months from start to finish.
