First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at W.J. Bradley Mortgage Capital.
Associate Counsel
Met with the supervisor, and we talked about my resume and the job duties. Then, I met with two other team members and we discussed the roles and goals. The process was pretty straightforward and led by the person who wanted to fill the role. HR contacted me after about background checks and setting up my first day.
- Do you have litigation experience?
Mortgage Loan Officer
Interview started with a HR phone call, then an in-person meeting with the supervisor. It could be a good experience with the supervisor, but HR might mess it up due to strict policies. Background check comes next, which is usually fine if nothing bad comes up. If you agree to everything and sign what HR needs, you'll likely get hired. Try not to negotiate much if you want the job.
- Are you available to work Saturdays and half-days on Fridays, for a total of six days per week?
Strategic Planner
The VP of Strategy and I spent about 30 minutes discussing the industry and the company. He went over the CEO's Vision and goals for the near and far term. A lot of time was spent explaining the CEOs definition of "Well Run." He asked me why I was interested in the position.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in working at WJBradley?
Project Manager
We went over my resume and qualifications. The hiring manager was super nice and didn't ask anything too hard. They just wanted to chat and see if I could explain why I'd be good for the job.
- Can you give an example of a problem you solved and how you did it?
