We talked about the projects I've done before, how I tackle design problems, and how I understand what users need. It was a back-and-forth chat where I got to show how I create things and work with others. They wanted to know how I focus on the user and use feedback to make my designs better.

The interview process involved an aptitude test where I had to answer 20 questions, split into 10 verbal and 10 quantitative, within 35 minutes. Following that, I had discussions on separate dates: first with the hiring manager for about 30-45 minutes, then with the CTO for another 30-45 minutes, and finally, an HR round that lasted 30 minutes.

Behavioral Technical

I was contacted by an internal Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist at W Energy Specialist on August 04, 2022, about a role on their Client Services team. They mentioned they were impressed with my experience and thought I could add value to their Measurement solution, especially given their rapid growth. They stated they were ready to make a competitive offer, including a 401k match and unlimited PTO. After a couple of weeks, during which I was traveling, I had a phone interview with the recruiter that went well. We discussed the role, growth opportunities, and compensation in detail. The recruiter indicated the next step would be an interview with the VP of the services group and that she would schedule it. However, I never heard back from her despite sending follow-up emails and a LinkedIn message. Her lack of communication and unprofessionalism left a negative impression of the company.
