I had a great experience interviewing with Vymo. Everyone was super friendly, from the front office to the interviewers, making me feel really comfortable. The questions were spot on and relevant, and I liked that they gave me enough time to really think things through before answering. It was a really smooth and positive process overall, and I got a great impression of the company and its culture.

It was a face to face interview. I asked HR about my expected salary and they confirmed. The interview seemed easy. They said I was selected, did document verification, confirmed my package and joining date, and said they'd send the signed offer letter before joining. However, when I followed up for the offer letter, they claimed they didn't have the budget for my package since my current salary was already higher than their budget. I wasted a week and rejected other offers based on their confirmation. It's unprofessional to call candidates without a budget.

So, I had a terrible time with their interview process. I made it through 3 rounds and then HR asked for my documents for the Salary discussion round. After I sent them, they just disappeared for a whole month. Then they told me I was rejected with no good reason. It was super unprofessional, and they really need to be more upfront in their hiring. They should tell candidates earlier if they don't fit.

There were 5 interview rounds in total. The first round was a Data Structures and Algorithms round, scheduled for an hour but finished in 15-20 minutes because the questions were very easy, making me feel like I was interviewing as a fresher. The second round involved a pattern question, which also felt very basic, followed by a good low-level design question. The third round had a funny start; I joined the Zoom link to find an ongoing internal meeting with 5-6 company members. After waiting 10 minutes for their meeting to end, my good low-level design interview began. The fourth round was a high-level design interview where the interviewer explained VYMO's business and asked me to pick a problem they solve and explain how I would solve it. This felt like the interviewer wasn't prepared. I picked a problem and started explaining, but she kept interrupting me repeatedly throughout the hour. I considered quitting but stayed calm, thinking she should hear the solution first before diving deeper. The fifth round focused on my previous work experience. Throughout this whole process, they rescheduled my interview at least 4-5 times.
