The interview process didn't involve live coding or Python-specific questions. Instead, I was asked to detail a project I completed nearly two years ago. Due to the time lapse, my memory of the specific tech stack was a bit hazy, which I believe led to my rejection.

The hiring process at VulcanForms was super efficient and made me feel respected as a candidate. What really stood out was their internal recruitment team - they kept me in the loop and feeling engaged the whole time. Communication was clear and their HR team was really responsive. Then, the final interviews were with a mix of senior managers and team members, which gave me a great sense of the company culture and how the team works together. Their whole approach to hiring really sets up a good relationship for new hires and the existing employees. I'm happy to be a VulcanForms employee!

I went through three interview rounds: a phone call, a Zoom meeting with the department's main people, and a long onsite interview with the principals, which included a facility tour. Everyone was professional and nice, and the visit felt good. But since then? Nothing. No updates, no rejection notice, and no way to ask because I only spoke to a recruiter and there are no direct emails or employee directory on their website. If I wasn't selected, that's fine. But for a company that wants to seem like a rising industry player, it's unacceptable to have a candidate go through three interviews and then not provide any status update. This is another sign that VulcanForms isn't ready for serious business. Update: I tried calling their main number to reach HR, but they weren't even picking up.

So first there was a recruiter call, then a video meeting with the manager, and finally an onsite meeting. The onsite had about 5 people and included a powerpoint presentation. The whole process was pretty organized and everyone was nice and professional. I had to put together a short power point about my experience and a couple of projects I'd worked on.
