First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at VT Industries.
HR Intern
Interviewed by two HR supervisors and the Director of Operations. They asked me typical questions about my school and why I want to do this internship. They were really open to my questions and were upfront and understanding.
- What skills do you possess that would be beneficial for this position?
Production Assembler
After submitting an online application and resume, there was a computer test taken in person. This was followed by an in-person interview with some pretty laid-back managers. We then took a tour of the facility, where they described the various job tasks. They also explained shift availability, hours, and when and how benefits become available.
- What is your worst characteristic.
Financial Analyst
The interview process felt really personal, though it still had the business side of things. It didn't feel like an interrogation, more like they were genuinely interested in me as a person. I even got a bit more time with the interviewer, which was great.
- Can you tell me about an Excel spreadsheet you created that you're particularly proud of?
Intern
The interview process was slow, but I did get asked some technical and personality questions, as well as questions about my past experience. The people I spoke with were good, and there was only one round of interviews.
- What is one of your strengths?
