Staff Accountant
I did my 1st interview on the phone with one of the partners, then they came back after a couple of days for an invitation to the coffee interview (45 mins) with a manager and a senior followed by a 2nd interview with the other partners (right after the coffee interview)
- Tell me about yourself and your experience.
- Can you present your past projects?
Front Desk Receptionist
I went to the office for my interview, but the interviewer was sick. So I had to do a zoom call from their office, which was inconvenient because I would have preferred to do it from home. They liked me and scheduled a second interview two weeks later. On the day of the second interview, just as I was leaving, they canceled and said they chose someone else. They were very unprofessional and bad at communication. They should inform candidates earlier. If an interviewer is sick, they should let the candidate know so they can interview from home. They also reposted the job ad saying they're urgently hiring.
- What's your reason for leaving your previous employment?
- What makes you interested in this particular position?
Internship
It was a two-step interview process. The first interview involved a set of questions and sharing about yourself. The second interview was two parts: first, a casual coffee meeting with employees, and then a formal interview with the CEO and another person, where you present a school project showcasing skills relevant to the job.
- What was a challenging project you worked on in class, and what did you take away from it?
