The whole thing was a mess, disorganized and took forever. I first talked to the recruiter over the phone, but she was late and had to cut it short, so we had to schedule a second call. The next call was also kind of a mess, but they invited me in for an in-person interview with the VP of Product and Tech Director. That went okay, they didn't ask me much, but then they wanted me to come back to meet the rest of the team. After waiting a while for scheduling, I had 5 interviews back-to-back over lunch with a bunch of people, including PMs, devs, and designers. These were mostly about my background and I asked them about the company. One interview got canceled. The recruiter then told me I had to talk to another PM who was remote, so I had a phone interview with him. It was more of the same, talking about the company and industry. After that, I heard nothing for over a week. The recruiter finally got back to me saying they wanted me for a different PM role and wanted me to come in for a third half-day visit. I said no to another in-person visit and would only do phone calls. They then said they were moving on with other candidates because I wouldn't come in.

I flew in after some phone interviews, and everything seemed good. But when I got to the office, the first person I was supposed to meet wasn't there. I ended up talking to someone else unexpectedly. The main person I needed to see was at a different office, so I left without meeting them. I still met with four other people, and those chats were nice. After flying home, I heard nothing. No feedback, zilch. The recruiter took weeks and three emails to respond, and they were vague about feedback and the hiring status. The recruiter's handling of things felt unprofessional.

The interview process was pretty standard for a big tech company. I first met with the Hiring Manager in person over coffee, which was nice. Then, I had a phone call with the Director of Product for the area. After that, I went in for an onsite interview which had 4 parts, and it ended with me giving a Product Presentation to a group of people from Product and Engineering.
