It was a pretty quick process even though it involved 3 interviews. First, an online interview where I had to answer 5 questions, with two tries to record a video response. They give you notice and explain how it works so you can prepare a bit before the deadline to answer and submit. Once you pass this, they'll call to schedule a BlueJeans interview, which lasts about 45 minutes, and in my case, it was with a team lead. In between the first two interviews, there was a short call with the HR person handling my application to assess my English level. Finally, the in-person interview. Since I was living in Germany, we arranged for me to travel to the Madrid offices for this. The company covered my travel expenses. The interview was with one of the managers on my team, and they allocate 3-4 hours for it. After the interview, which lasted about an hour and a half, you stay with the team to see how things work. After the interview is done, they'll call within a certain time to let you know if you've been selected. In my case, they sent the contract online. Overall, the company's selection process seems good and they provide good communication, as they don't leave you waiting long wondering how you did in each interview; they quickly let you know the outcome or if they need more time or anything else.

So there were about 3 rounds of interviews. First, it was the usual online personality test. Then, I had to do this digital interview, which was about 20 minutes of recording myself, it was pretty awkward. The last one was in person, and it felt like a cattle call, honestly. There were like 40-50 people, and maybe 6-8 interviewers for all of us. They called us up in the order we signed in. I was a bit early but ended up being last. I waited for like 2 hours just to have a 10-minute interview. They had pizza and some employees you could chat with about the job, but I was more annoyed they didn't just schedule people better, like half in one hour and the other half in the next. The in-person questions weren't too wild, just the typical stuff like asking about my previous jobs, how I handle conflict, my strengths and weaknesses. It really only took 10 minutes. I got an email the next day saying I got the job. This company seems like a great place to work, good culture, benefits, and they're really transparent and supportive. Lots of chances to advance your career too.

The first call with the recruiter went great. Then, my onsite interview got canceled super last minute, like 30 mins before it was supposed to start. They sent an email/left a voicemail saying I'd hear back about next steps in 48 hours. It took them five whole days to get back to me, and I had to call them first to even find out what was up. Turns out, they thought I was too eager and might be using the job to move out of Austin. I was definitely excited about the company because their business model is awesome, but moving to Europe was totally news to me. Honestly, if you wanna get hired there, maybe don't seem too interested.
