The process started with the company expressing strong interest, saying 'we don't want to miss out on you,' but then went completely silent. I never heard back from the recruiter, leaving me to wonder why. My guess is they already had someone in mind internally, and the job posting and interviews were just for show to appear thorough.

I had an initial HR screening which was okay, but then I interviewed with Executive Producer Miranda Kennedy and it was an uncomfortable experience. Her rejection email was really rude, dismissive, and disrespectful, which honestly wasn't surprising given the apparent constant turnover on this team.

The interview process involved three interviews: two phone calls and a final in-person meeting. Everyone I met at Vox was really nice. I had to complete a two-hour assignment to show what I could do, and they actually paid me for it, which was a first for me. Talking about salary and benefits with HR was also easy and quick.
