The VOX Global interview process dragged on for a whole month, which felt like too much. It had several stages: a quick phone call, a video chat, an in-person meeting, and a bunch of check-ins with the recruiter that could have just been emails. By the time I got to the final in-person interview, they were late and asked me the same questions I'd already covered. They were supposed to give me a take-home assignment, but I didn't make it that far because they were looking for someone with specific technical skills I don't have. I get that they need certain expertise, but it would have been better if they'd said so upfront instead of wasting weeks. Honestly, it felt like a waste of my time. If you're thinking about applying, get ready for a long haul with a lot of repeated steps.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

This interview process was really disorganized, showing a lack of clear direction. It took over 3 months from applying to the end. There were 8 interview rounds plus work samples. Most interviews were with senior people. The job role seemed to change multiple times, and they never provided a job description. In the end, they didn't hire anyone and decided to restart the search, which is wild for a VP role at a communications agency, especially given the current job market. This experience made me not want to work there or hire them as a client. Good agencies are efficient and have solid decision-making processes, which they lacked.

The whole thing took about two weeks. I got referred by someone who works there already. Then I had one phone chat with the person in charge of internships. It was all pretty simple and nice. The questions were really standard for entry-level jobs. The interviewer was new to phone interviews, but did a good job. We all started somewhere! I didn't take the offer this time, but I really respect the company and how they handle their hiring process. Super professional and clear. If you're into public relations and looking for an internship, check out any of the VOX Global offices.

The interview process involves 3 rounds. First, you'll chat for 30 minutes with an account executive in charge of fellowship hiring to discuss your resume and skills for the role. Next, a 30-minute meeting with the senior VP and partner of the ESG team will cover both technical and situation-based questions.
