First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Voto Latino.
Fellow
The interview was casual. I was asked typical questions such as why do you want to work at VL, what is your experience, what is a strength you would bring to the role. I believe showing enthusiasm and a knowledge of what the company does is important.
- Why do you want to work for Voto Latino?
Manager
It was a good interview process overall, although it felt a bit disorganized. They were going through some changes and didn't really communicate that upfront. The questions were standard, and the team seemed friendly. I just wish they had been clearer about the situation so I understood they weren't actively hiring until things were more settled during their transition.
- Can you describe a project you were involved in?
Managing Director
It was a good 45-minute call where we discussed everything expected. The interview itself felt fair, but unfortunately, there was no follow-up, not even a simple thank you or an update on the hiring decision, which is a shame.

Operations
Had a quick phone interview, about thirty minutes long. The questions were behavioral and mainly focused on time management and work prioritization. The questions easily prompted how my past experience would apply.
- How would you handle having multiple tasks with a close deadline?
