Had a video call with the scrum master and a senior developer. It was pretty laid back, more focused on how I'd approach problems rather than the specifics of code. The questions weren't super hard, they felt like a way to check if I had experience in the required areas.

I was hit up by a recruiter on linkedin back in July about a software engineering gig. I made it super clear I was only into backend stuff, even though their jobs page said full stack, and they swore up and down it was cool. So, I went through a bunch of phone screens, this coding challenge where I had to build an api with aws lambda, then another technical phone interview, and after they looked at my project, they hit me with the news that they actually only wanted full stack people, especially front end. Volusion really needs to figure out what they're looking for because they're wasting people's time with this whole interview process that can drag on for like a month.

The interview process kicked off with a phone interview where I was asked about how I'd persuaded teammates about a specific technology and how I'd mentored them. This was followed by a 1:1 interview. The company is small, with about 12 developers, and they have one main product. Both interviews were with the CEO and two developers.
