So it was a few steps. First we had a group call, then we broke into smaller groups to talk a bit about ourselves. After that, I got invited to an informal chat with some of the office folks, and finally, I had a meeting with the company Heads.

Recruiter contacted me, then I had interviews with the producer, senior producer, COO, and HR. All done over Skype and through the recruiter. They were interested in my hobbies like Anime, Manga, popular movies, tv shows, and romance media, and also if I had experience working in Japan or at a Japanese company. Mostly they wanted to see if I'd be a good cultural fit for the office.

You'll go through a few rounds of interviews with producers, HR, the general manager, and the COO. Mostly, they'll want to know what makes you tick, what you've done before (based on your resume), and what games or shows you're into. If you've worked in Japan, they'll definitely want to hear about that. And hey, for localization producer jobs, make sure you can answer everything in Japanese!
