Analyst
The interview was very straightforward, focusing on aspects of the professional profile against the requirements of the position to filter for suitability. Generally, it was well-structured, though a bit slow in providing process updates. At the end, there's an integrity and compliance test with company-designed questions.
- What is your experience in the automotive industry?
- Do you have proficiency with the Office suite?
UX Designer
Sent my CV with a Cover Letter and all my diplomas, recommendation letters, and certifications. After one week I got an email with an invitation for an interview. Confirmed the interview. They asked me to prepare a presentation about me and my experience. The interview took place a week later with 3 people: 1 HR, 1 UX Lead, and 1 Project Manager. The interview was 1hr and 10 minutes long.
- Can you tell me about the latest trends in UX design?
- How would you handle a situation where a colleague isn't working during their expected hours because they're volunteering at a dog shelter? What steps would you take?
Consultant
After an initial chat with the Talent Manager, I was quickly offered a 1.5-hour meeting with the Head of Department, the relevant Section Head, and HR. I had to prepare a case study on VW's challenges and my proposed solutions, including a 5-7 minute presentation. The flow was: introductions to the department and people, then my case presentation. Afterward, they asked questions about the case (challenges, methods, etc.). Then, we discussed my resume, focusing on my positions, projects, specific activities, and the value I added. They also touched upon my experience with technical buzzwords like OKRs (implementation, challenges). Towards the end, there were a few personal questions. The conversation felt very friendly and equal. The process was structured, like a dialogue rather than top-down. No mention of background check or offer, but implies these would follow.
- Tell me about your proposed approach to the challenges faced by VW.
- Can you elaborate on your experience with the case presented?
- What were the main difficulties encountered during the case study?
Joven Profesional
The process started with an online test focused on logical reasoning. This was followed by an online group dynamic where we had to research the company and a specific topic given by the recruiter. Then, there was an in-person group interview which was similar to the online one but included a final presentation of a proposed improvement to supervisors from different company areas. The process concluded with individual interviews conducted by an HR person and a supervisor.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Discuss the pros and cons of digital transformation in the automotive sector and suggest areas for improvement.
