Behavioral Technical Coding

Saw the job posting on their website for a temp QA role for 1-2 years. Sent in my resume and cover letter, and they got back asking me to answer some questions in a questionnaire – like review a game and discuss its good and bad points, how I handle tough situations, how much I play games, and how I'd fix a technical problem. Then they called me to set up an interview, where I met with two QA Supervisors. It was a pretty normal chat about my past work and what I'm into. They had me play a buggy version of an old project while they watched and expected me to point out any bugs I found.

Behavioral Technical

I spoke with the Senior Animator, who was joined by a Technical Designer and a Programmer. They introduced themselves and gave me some info about the role. First, they asked if I'm able to relocate and if I'm legally authorized to work in the US. The conversation felt pretty laid-back and friendly.

I had a one-hour phone interview. The design questions were hard and really checked my knowledge. The experience questions were also tough but fair, aimed at seeing if I would fit with the team. It was a good experience overall.
