Behavioral Technical Presentation

I went through 3 rounds of interviews for this position. It started with an initial screen, then there was a personality and ability assessment, and finally an onsite interview. The onsite interview seemed to go well. I spoke with three different people and got a tour of the offices. They said they'd let me know by the end of the week. The whole interview process took about 5 hours. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them, and my follow-up emails got no response, just silence. The interview process itself was pretty standard for this kind of job, but it would have been nice to get a callback just to know they chose someone else.

The interviewer was nice. There were two interview seasons in total. The first interview was to ensure alignment with the working style and culture. The second interview focused on problem-solving methods and required strong technical skills. The interviewer was nice and asked technical questions about lab instruments, etc.

The interview process was pretty straightforward, involving my dotted line and direct hiring manager. It got pretty lengthy during one of the two interviews because the interviewer really wanted to probe and understand me as a person, which I thought was great.
