_VOIS Software Engineer interviews, decoded.

The interview process included three main phases: an initial screening, a technical assessment, and an HR interview. I was asked questions about Genesys Engage WFM, dockers, Verint, the business of call centres, and AWS. I felt prepared for it and it wasn't too difficult.

I had two interviews spread out over 3 weeks. The first one was a technical interview focusing on my past experience, specifically how and why I used certain AWS tools. The second interview was a standard HR discussion. They said they'd let me know the outcome either way, but I never heard back.

So at VOIS, they had me chat about my skills and what I know about programming and computer science stuff. The interview was mainly about: how well I know programming basics like data structures, algorithms, and how to solve problems. They also asked about the programming languages I know, like which ones I'm good at, my experience, and projects I did with them. Then, they wanted to know about my general computer science knowledge, like operating systems, databases, networking, and how software is made.
