For architects, the interview usually covers general stuff, a review of your portfolio, and questions testing your knowledge of the field. They might ask about what you like to do, your hobbies, and your career ambitions. Also, expect questions about your strong and weak points, how you cope with stress, and your methods for prioritizing work.

It was pretty straightforward, nothing out of the usual. You'll meet about 3-5 people and get a tour of the office. You'll likely have one interview, they're good at figuring out how interested you are.

I applied for an Interior Design job but ended up interviewing for this position instead. The whole process took over 5 months, and they were really vague about what to expect. It started with a recruiter call, then a phone interview. It took forever to get scheduled, even though they said they wanted to interview me. Then, right at the last minute, the people who were supposed to interview me didn't show up and didn't even reschedule. The person who did interview me was new to the company and didn't know much about it or the role, and couldn't answer my questions. It felt unprofessional and like they didn't care about my interview. They said I was still being considered, but after 5 months, there's been no follow-up or next steps. I felt like they were just stringing me along. It really showed a lack of care, and I was so excited to interview with them. Now I don't think much of the company based on how they handled this.

Had an HR interview over the phone. They really focused on technical abilities and experience related to their specific type of work, very standard stuff. If they aren't interested, you won't hear back about the outcome, and they'll ignore any follow-up attempts, even though they encouraged it at first.
