Behavioral Presentation

The interview involved three interviewers and a secretary, lasting about 30 minutes and conducted entirely in English. One interviewer's unprofessional behavior (leaning chin on hand, yawning) was noted. There was also ambiguity regarding the 9:30 a.m. arrival time, as it was unclear if it was for reporting or the actual interview start.

The interview started with a self-introduction in English. Then, they asked about my past job experiences, specifically if I had any previous experience with library operations and my PC skills. They also asked me to share a story about a hardship I faced at work and how I dealt with it. A question was posed in Putonghua. Finally, I was asked if I had any questions for them.

It's a really long process. They give you a written task where you have to write at least 450 words. It feels like they give you way too much time for it, like 100 minutes, but most people finish in about an hour. Then you wait around for your turn, which could be anywhere from 20 minutes to 1.5 hours, just depends on luck. The actual interview is 20-30 minutes long, and there are 4 people asking questions. They might ask random, basic, or even unrealistic questions just to see how you handle it.
