Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at VMLY&R.
Intern
The interview was pretty easy. The hiring manager asked me about myself and my long term goals. Then they asked a few technical questions like if I knew v-lookups and pivot tables.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
- Are you familiar with v-lookups?
Intern
The interview process started with a phone call, then a Teams meeting with some team members, and concluded with an in-person meeting at the office. They asked general questions and were flexible with my school schedule. Overall, it was a good experience for an internship interview.
- What is your ideal work environment like?
Internal Controls Analyst
Had an initial chat with HR, then spoke with the hiring manager and a director. The calls were scheduled after my work hours to make it easier for the interviewers who are in a different time zone.
- What is your understanding of our company?
