Horticulture Technician
The interview process was pretty straightforward with standard questions. I didn't like some of the questions, especially the one about doing work outside my job description, which felt a bit shady. The hiring director also mentioned not talking about politics while having decorations that clearly displayed his.

The interview process began with a phone interview that was scheduled via email. It was pretty straightforward, with questions about my interest in working for the VMFA and why I would be a good fit. Unfortunately, I was ghosted after the interview and received no response from the interviewer.

It was a panel interview with three people from different museum departments. They asked standard questions and took notes between each answer. There wasn't much chance to chat or connect with the interviewers. I got a job offer right away.

I interviewed with the manager and assistant manager. It took a few weeks at least for the full interviewing and hiring process. Then had to go through orientation before I could start.
