The interview process started with a phone call from the recruiter. After that, I had an in-person interview. Then, the hiring manager got involved and I had a face-to-face meeting with them. Finally, I met with a panel, which was a bit intimidating, but they were informal and friendly. This panel was made up of the team I'd be working with.

I was contacted by a recruiter about a role, and after speaking with them and my potential manager over the phone, I agreed to come in for interviews. The process involved 7 interviews, which required me to take time off and travel. I exchanged a lot of emails and drove a significant distance. I had to prepare and deliver presentations, white papers, blog articles, and press interviews. Throughout the process, I received positive feedback. The interview with the COO went well, but after that, there was a 5-week period of no communication. When they finally responded, they offered me $25,000 less than we had previously agreed upon, which had been confirmed multiple times. I indicated this would be difficult, and I haven't heard back since. It feels very disrespectful, especially since they reached out to me.

The interviewers really knew their stuff about what the client needed, so they were spot on with finding the right consultant. The initial phone chat was short, and then I was quickly moved to an in-person interview. It was a fast, direct, but pleasant conversation. The whole team was there to chat and answer any questions I had about VMC.

The interviews were pretty easy. I had interviews with several managers. Some of them involved technical questions, but these varied a lot since each team works on a different product. There were also some really in-depth customer service questions.

A secret party had guests say a password to enter. An uninvited person observed. A guest knocked, heard 'six,' and said 'three' to be let in. Another guest knocked, heard 'twelve,' and said 'six' to be let in. The observing person knocked, heard 'ten,' and said 'five,' but wasn't let in. What should they have said to get in?
