The HR person reached out and mentioned we could either do two separate 1.5-hour rounds, one for screening and one for coding, or a single 3-hour round combining both. I opted for the separated rounds because I was worried about getting worn out and my performance dropping. The whole thing was quick and friendly, and I actually enjoyed the process.

HR from a recruiting company reached out on LinkedIn about two urgent positions. I agreed to apply, and HR conducted an interview a week later. The office was nice, and the HR person seemed knowledgeable about technical topics. The interview started with some small talk about my interests and company awareness, followed by a test (multiple choice/own answer) which I passed. Then, I had to program two simple, common algorithmic tasks using notepad without an IDE or compiler. I wrote a quick version and noted potential issues like using BigIntegers for numbers exceeding Long.MaxValue. HR was in a rush, so I saved the code as a text file, and she said a developer would review it. The next morning, I received a rejection from the recruiting company without details, despite asking for them.
