Executive Assistant
I applied online and the recruiter got in touch to schedule a PHONE INTERVIEW. We picked a time, and they asked me to confirm my phone number from my resume. Before the PHONE INTERVIEW, I was given 15 questions to answer. I got a Zoom invite, which said I'd be called on the phone number I confirmed. When the interview time came, there was no call. The recruiter emailed, asking if I was still interested and if they were on Zoom. I explained that the email and Zoom invite said I'd be called on my cell, not Zoom, and asked to reschedule. Sadly, after that mix-up, the recruiter completely ghosted me. It felt really disrespectful and unprofessional. I put a lot of effort into preparing, answering all the questions, and taking time off work for the interview. Just an email saying they weren't moving forward would have been fine. The recruiter's support and organization were messy and unprofessional throughout. Mistakes happen, and a little kindness helps. I'm still waiting for that automated email saying they've moved on.

Algorithm Developer
The company's recruiting team reached out to me for an initial Zoom call with the team manager. The coordination for the meeting was very automated, and the interview itself was pleasant and informative. They explained the company and asked questions about DSP, AI, and related topics. After I passed, the recruitment team scheduled an in-person interview at their offices. They were great at managing the coordination, hosting, and questioning during this stage. The in-person interview involved discussing my past projects and roles, both academic and professional. I also had to tackle a practical challenge, which involved designing and proposing a deep learning architecture for a specific problem. Following this, the recruitment team arranged a homework assignment. This included exploring data for a problem, devising a deep learning solution, analyzing its performance, and finally building a Flask app. The recruitment team and manager were very supportive throughout this phase, offering guidance and clarification. Later, I had a discussion with the development team about the homework, where they asked about my understanding of the task and the reasoning behind my choices. The process concluded with a final conversation involving the group manager and the HR team leader. This was a positive and informative discussion, and I felt well-supported by the company, especially the recruiting staff, throughout the entire interview journey. The recruiting team was exceptionally helpful, responsive, and available even outside of working hours, which added to the professional and high-level nature of the interview process.

Product Marketing Manager
I recently had an amazing interview experience with Viz.ai, which I found to be the best process among the 10+ companies I've interviewed with recently, including Facebook. The process was well-planned, moved quickly, and I always knew what to expect. The recruiter was actively engaged throughout, ensuring everything went smoothly, which I really appreciated and found impressive. This stood out compared to other companies where recruiters were often unresponsive or didn't seem to care about my preparedness for the onsite interview. A highlight was arriving for the onsite and seeing a large welcome sign with my name by the entrance.

Sales Manager
I applied online for Viz.ai and got an email from a recruiter. We set up a phone interview. After that, the recruiter wanted me to talk to a mid-level director the next day. I joined the call a few minutes early, but the director never showed up. Five minutes after the scheduled start, the recruiter called to say the director couldn't make it and would reschedule. It's been over a week and I haven't heard back. I emailed the recruiter after waiting three days, but he didn't reply. I'm not upset about how I was treated, it saved me from making a bad choice joining this company. If this is their culture, I'm out. Recruiters and companies forget this is a two-way street. They have great tech, but ghosting me after I was ready for the interview is cold and makes them look bad.
- Can you elaborate on your experience with corporate accounts?
