I applied online and heard back from Vivid Marketing within 24 hours. They asked me to research the company beforehand, though there wasn't much info online. My first interview was in person with a manager. I asked about job details like pay and growth, but they wouldn't give specifics, saying I'd find out if I got a second interview. I got a call 3 hours later inviting me for a full-day interview. This involved shadowing account managers, which is how I discovered it was a door-to-door sales job, something not mentioned anywhere. The office seemed cool, but you don't spend much time there due to morning and evening meetings.

The first day took about 20 minutes. I talked with the manager about the company and answered a few general questions about what I wanted from the job. The second day, a manager took me for a walk in a nearby park where we talked more about the company. We reviewed salary and advancement opportunities. Then I filled out a questionnaire about what I had been 'taught' about the company. The interview went well, but I messed up when I said I didn't want to work 6 days a week.

It was a 3 step interview process. The first step was an initial interview with Chrysanthi, the president of the company. She gave information about the position and the company. The next step was an all day interview where I shadowed a sales rep named Lauren to see what it was like to work there. Finally, the 3rd step was a face to face interview with a manager named Brandon. Everyone treated me with the utmost respect. This company does excellent work because they help businesses reduce their energy costs.

I applied online and then got a call for a face-to-face interview. I was excited thinking it was a real marketing job like an internship I had before. But they were misleading in the job description, so I left the interview early. It was actually a sales job where you stand in a big store like Sam's Club or Costco and try to get people to buy a product, like skincare.
