Went through a two-step interview process, with a potential third step. First, I spoke with HR. Then, I had a second interview with two managers who were supposed to be onsite, but one was super late and having tech issues. After all that, they just ghosted me. Honestly, I think if a company has a hiring process with multiple steps, they owe it to candidates to at least say if they're going with someone else. Even though I was pretty keen, the whole experience with the late manager and then the ghosting just shows me how they value their employees.

I had three interviews with Viventium, all video calls on Microsoft Teams. First was with HR/Recruiting, went well, and they scheduled the second interview before we even hung up. Second interview was with the hiring manager and someone from escalations. That also went well, and the manager said I'd hear back in a week or sooner for the final interview with two senior team members. Surprisingly, I got a call less than two hours later to schedule the final interview for early the next week. The final interview seemed to go well too, and the senior team member said I'd hear back soon about a decision. I felt confident based on the interviews and how quickly they were scheduled. I didn't hear back for three days, so I sent a follow-up email confirming my interest. The recruiter replied Friday, thanking me for my patience and assuring me I'd hear back within the week. Then, Saturday afternoon, I got an automated rejection email saying the candidate pool was competitive. I was bummed to get so far and receive a generic rejection, especially since previous communication was personal. I still think Viventium sounds like a great company.

The interview had 2 rounds. First, an HR call. Then, an onsite interview with managers. HR initially said there'd be hybrid/remote work, but later it turned out it wasn't available in India. The offer letter mentioned remote work, but HR later contradicted it. This was disappointing and misleading. It's best to get all terms in writing before accepting. I rejected the offer because of this, though my friend accepted it and confirmed the HR contradiction. Pros: The interview and onboarding process was smooth. Cons: HR was inconsistent about the job terms.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process at Viventium was super professional. Jen, the talent acquisition director, kept me updated on everything. We had 3 video interviews over about 2 weeks with the implementation team. Then I had a take-home assignment to show my industry knowledge. The whole thing took just under a month. Everyone was really nice and made it easy. I'd recommend interviewing here.
